This audit was carried out as a research project for the Masters of Public Health that I am completing in University College Cork. I specialised in Health Protection with a focus on infection control, hence the topic of the audit. I am also a student EMT with the Glanmire Division of St. John Ambulance in Cork, Ireland which gives me a huge interest in pre-hospital care and research.
